What is the name of your state? Arkansas

I recently got a ticket for parking in a prohibited handicapped spot in my apt. complex. The thing is is that there are two spots right next to each other. A leasing consultant that used to work there said that the people who were painting it painted the wrong space, and so thats why there is a blue box there, and they never bothered to remove it. But that i could park there. The space next to it is blatantly marked with a sign and a blue box with a white wheelchair but the spot i parked in which i was told i could, has no sign on it and has no white wheelchair in the messed up blue box. I called the district court and they said i could bring a picture of it but that it was up to the prosecutor whether to drop it or not. Do you think i have a good case against this? Any advice on anything else i should do? Thanks

**How can you be so sure the leasing consultant is correct? I would find out from the people who painted it if this is true. Then take pictures and present your case.
