What is the name of your state? FL

I'm sorry if this has been covered before, or seems silly, but I was wondering exactly what kind of "proof" is needed to charge someone with harassment or to just simply get a restraining order against someone. My boyfriend's mother continuously calls me, accuses me of things I'd rather not get into, and then slanders me to others. How would I go about legally getting her to leave me alone, because asking her (repeatedly) isn't working. Is it possible without proof on paper?

Thanks.

Call the police in your area. They can make a call to her or even stop by and let her know not to call you. If that doesnt scare her then keep calling the police until they throw the metal bracelets on her.
