Can any criminally insane person with a grudge against me repeatedly call my employer to make catcalls and tell false stories about me? Such as an ex-wife or anyone for that matter?

Yes, any criminally insane person with a grudge against you, such as an ex-wife, can repeatedly call your employer to make catcalls and tell false stories about you. But this criminally insane person could potentially face harassment and/or defamation charges for doing so.

We do live in a perfect world, Totalwreck. It's just that the people who inhabit it aren't always perfect, which tends to screw things up a bit. ;)

And you're welcome. :)

You mean the caller contacts your employer and makes "a harsh or shrill call or whistle expressing derision or disapproval?" That's a catcall.

We are talking about a "criminally insane" person here, Hot Topic. I think catcalls are entirely possible. :D

I like the term vulgardash, personally. I'm going to try to work it into everyday conversation at least three times this week.

It has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? I think I could probably make good use of the word several times a day. :)

I thought it was a naughty version of the game 'Balderdash'. Seriously. I thought the OP was harassing HIS employer with naughty definitions of obscure words. Obviously, I need to get some sleep.:p

You know, mommyof4, you may just have a game idea there worth some dollars! I, of course, wouldn't buy it, but I am sure there are some people out there that would.

Okay, if I manage to get the game on the market without getting sued 6 ways from Sunday, I'll credit you as co-creator. :p

Unfortunately, more than one person. And one of them has a very colorful, verifiable past.

There's about 2 or 3 of them at the moment. The number has been higher.
