Iam from paragould arkansas have worked for the same company 25 years they have stopped us from smoking and because i made the plant manager mad now he has people follow me to bath room and friday the nurse looked in the stall through the cracks we have a union and i would like the privacy act or some thing that insures my privacy in the stalls in the bathrooms please help would like to be able to quote him something to call off this harassment thanks

How do you know that your boss had someone looking into your stall in the company bathroom?

Any true smoker would know that, the smell alone would give a clue as to if somone is smoking, I dont see how looking into a stall would resolve this.

Yes you have a right to your privicy, and any violation in this manner should be put into writing in a complaint to the company,

I would contact you local EEOC, time is a big factor in cases like this. An attny could help you file the complaint, and maby help you prepare the letter, do this ASAP to avoid exceeding statute in this,

I would not make my boss previe to the step you are taking concerning the lawyer etc. the letter should explain everything to them. Good luck..
