What is the name of your state? Florida and New York

I will try to keep this simple. The ex husband (Florida) of a friend, is trying to cease alimony (SB#152-2005), and is verbally harassing the ex-wife(New York) of her male friend. He is leaving messages on her phone and threatening to subpeona her if she doesnt write a letter. He claims he needs the letter to get the court to rule that he can stop paying alimony.

Is there a law against harassment of someone, unless they testify/produce a written statement.??
How can this be stopped legally?

thx

I can't comprehend this , and what does that have to do with legal ethics and lawyer malpractice ?

Why don't you have your Friend post in divorce section and make it comprehensible ?
