Thanks all. I plan to talk to my therapist regarding this, but I'm glad to see I have a right to advocate for myself. I'm a very guilt driven person, so I thought there was no way I had a right to defend myself. But I see this is about the future as much as the past, and I'm going to prove that I'm changed, even if I accept responsibility for what I did.
