have a hard time collecting on old invoices

my business is in ca. and i'm trying to collect on invoices in sc. i sold this other co. some tape shipped it thought u.p.s. i have given them the proofs of deliveires and the still don't want to pay how do i start with a attorney ?should i get one in sc.?or in ca.?

I'd suggest that you call a collections lawyer in SC and get a colection leter sent. OR buy a Business legalpreopaid plan and the plan lawyer will do one for you.
