I live in Washington State. I have a small claims judgement against a previous tenant for a water bill she skipped out on. It is for $222.00. I waited the required 30 days before switching it to the Distict Court Civil Docket. I am unsure of what needs to be filed next at the court to garnish either her bank account (I have the number) or her wages (I know where she works). Do I need to send her anything further? I downloaded 5 forms from the Washington court site. They are:

1. Application for Writ of Garnishment
2. Writ of Garnishment (Debts other than earnings)
3. Writ of Garnishment (continuing lien on earnings)
4.Certification of Mailing Garnishment
5. Notice of Garnishment and of Your Rights

The clerk at the court refused to help me further, fearing she was giving legal advice. Which forms come next???

Your next steps will be determined by what assets are easiest, least ordeal and least cost.

Go to your local library or bookstore and get a book titled something like "How to Win in Small Claims court in Washington". The last few chapters will discuss how to collect on the judgment.
