What is the name of your state? Virginia

I'm in the early stages of exploring the possibility of an international business venture. It would require having contract employees in Europe for about a three month contract. If the contractors are working for an American Corp. on contract - would they still need to tangle with work visas or otherwise? Or would this simply be a business arrangement from corp to corp since there would be no wages exchanging hands internationally - just payment for service? I'm sure its different for each country - but if there is anything you can add it would be greatly appreciated.
