What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Brooklyn, New York.
I won a bid on ebay for a cell phone that cost $265.00. The seller was not answering my questions on the e-mails I was sending to him & he has only sold to me and one other person and that other person also bought a phone from him and she never received it!. So I decided to stop the money order from getting to him. Now we both did a mutal agreement threw ebay so that would free me from any futher obligations to that seller. He has been sending me threatening e-mails threw ebay and threw his e-mail address, he is demanding me to pay him his filing fees, and he has demanded me to put a positive feedback for him all this has to be done within 10 days. Meanwhile he already had posted a neg feedback on me. Now when I received the paper from the post office they need to know why I wanted the money order sent back to me, I put on on the paper "Fake ebay seller". Now he is telling me that I will be receiving a letter from a lawyer because he has filied a defamation complaint against me. What should I do, should I be worried about this, what would happen in a case like this?

There are thousands of posts similar to yours so I have prepared a standard answer:

Get a lawyer.

Invest $20K and three years.

Sue the bad people for defamation.

If you win, expect them to keep doing it.

If you lose, expect them to keep doing it.

So, answer his negative feedback with the truth: you don't trust him because he doesn't communicate and he scammed another (his only other) buyer. You can respond to his feedback, then you can leave him feedback, then you can follow up with another comment.

Then, you can tell him to shove it where his last cell phone ("sold") went.
