What is the name of your state?
P.A.
Iwnt to know how in the world a 19 year old guy who quit his job, has gotten benifits of 260 dollars for 9 months!!!
his mommy appealed the initial denial of benifits, and won the appeal! I know this guy hes a bum, he willingly quit his job because he dont wake up in the morning!
what really upsets me is this fact. When my husband of 22 years was layed off from a 18 year job, he got benifits, and he was looking for work and could not get a job because of his previose wages, so he took a sales job, and two months later we were loosing our truck because he made absolutely no money, he had to quit because we could no longer put gas for this sales job, on our credit cards and couldnt pay our bills, so he went to unemployment and explained to them he wasnt earning anything it was all commision, and we couldnt stay in this buisness, but they refused us benifits!! well that was 'good cause' for quitting but we were denied benifits, we paid into that for 19 years and never collected, we had to sell our truck, so we wouldnt get bad credit for not paying the loan, , and this 19 year old pot smoking lazy bum gets benifits for quitting ?????????
gosh I hate the way laws are!! so unfair, Id like to sue unemployment for giving this bum MY hard earned tax dollars when we couldnt get it and it was ours to get!!
explain this to me will someone??
I am using my sisters log in name, I am tammy.

Tammy, obviously nobody here can answer your question. We have no idea what the particulars were of that 19 year old's termination and on what basis the initial determination was overturned and benefits granted.

The only specifics I can give you is that neither you nor your husband paid anything in to the State's UC fund. Unless PA is hugely different than all other States, UC taxes are paid entirely by the employer based on a percent of their total payroll. Employees do not pay anything towards UC taxes.
