I have visitaion to my daughter and her father was supose to pick her up on september 2nd, he never called or showed up. what do i do, should i still send the child support, put my daughter in school, if he shows up do i have to give her back to him?? Please help me understand what to do. Will this help me in a custody modify court case, in Florida?:confused:

He has custody? If so, yes you still pay the child support and keep a record of it. Yes you have to give her back if he does show up. In the mean time, put her in school if you have to.

Take him back to court to modify custody, visitation, child support. If he is this irresponsilbe perhaps a judge will give you custody.

Why don't you have custody in the first place? Do you pay child support to the state? or to him directly?

How old is the child?

He was supposed to pick her up yesterday? You're post seems to indicate that you can't locate him.
Maybe you're jumping the gun a little here - hopefully he didn't become a Labor Day weekend traffic statistic on the way over to your house.

My suggestion is to put some effort into locating your ex-husband. (Possibly using a more immediate means than a message board.)

Possibly once he is located and a reason discovered for why he didn't pick up the child, your questions will resolve themselves.
