I am in Alabama, and the problem is Sears.

The credit card was in my name, but he has all the stuff bought on the card ( tv's, bike's, tires's), and he will not pay Sears more then $50 a month ( the interst alone is over $100 each month now).

I sent sears a copy of all the papper work. Sears said he has to open an account then tranfer the balance, he will not do that either.

My credit is dead, what can I do?

Are you married? Going through a divorce? Divorced? An court orders? How tall are you? Do you have access to the items? Did you purchase the items and sign for them?

We are divorce as of Oct. 2000. The Divorce pappers state that he is responcable for the Sears bill payment in full.
He has all major purchase in his house.

The Card is how ever in my name alone (he did sign for some of the things bought). My Credit is shot. The best thing of all is that Sears said that they do not recognize divorce agremants.

Getting the money to pay the bills.

I'm no lawyer. the first thing that you need to do is close the account where it stands now. Then obtain all of the transactions that he made on the account. copies with his signature on it. Then you will need to take him to small claims court to recoup you money. The only way he could charge on the card is if you had him as a user of the card. You must have forgotten to remove him him during your divorce, But you can fix that by doing what I suggested and drag his buns to court. With all of what I just suggested you should win hands down.
