What is the name of your state? Maryland

My employer recently told me that they will no longer pay for my health insurance, a benefit that was part of my hiring package. Is this legal?

Not enough information. Are you the only one that is having your health insurance paid for? Conversely, are you the only one that is having the payments taken away? Do you have an honest to goodness, bona fide contract that says they will pay for your health insurance?

No law compels them to offer paid health insurance to any employee, so these are vitally important questions if you want an accurate answer.
