Are there any attorney's out there who represent possible class action lawsuits against major health insurance carriers? Our carrier has been negligent in several areas. 1st they did a pay increase w/out prior notification (we have automatic draft each month). Next they changed our policy from a no-deductible plan to a $1,000 deductible plan w/ $100 deductible on the prescriptions. Again, no prior notification given. This plan was switched 9/1/2000, and our deductibles had to be met, now as of 1/1/2001 we have yet new deductibles to meet again! And...We filed an appeal in regards to a rejected claim back in Sept. of 2000. We have yet to get an answer, or callback. We live in the state of Texas and desperately would like to fight this company because I am sure that it has happened to more parties than just us.
If you are an attorney willing to talk about this case, or someone who has had a similiar experience with an insurance company, we would LOVE to hear from you! Please feel free to e-mail us @ [email protected]. Thanks!
