i live in Oklahoma, although my health insurance company is located in LA. i have a question concerning the denial of a claim. i have 2 physicians stating that i need a particular surgery and they are denying claim, even though it is a medical necessity, because it states in my policy that this surgery is not covered due to the fact that it is cosmetic. My question is do I have any legal stand to take since the surgery is medically necessary. thanks
