health insurance opt outs

Are there any laws about health insurance opt outs? and if so what are they?

No, not really. What kind of laws did you have in mind?

I know there is opt out options with our policy, if an employee chooses not to participate in the plan they sign off on it. I don't know if there is any law governing this, just good policy in case it becomes an issue and shows that the employee was given the option.

My wife opted out of her company policy because it was cheaper to have her on mine.
