What is the name of your state? Maryland.

There is a possibility that our labor union will be on strike soon. Is there a law or regulation about when health insurance coverage provided by the employer ends?

I have been told that health insurance coverage will terminate after 30 days. The person that told me this was not sure.

This is one to ask your labor union, ASAP. It is in the best position to know what the existing collective bargaining agreement provides in the circumstances, and is very much up on your state's laws. Very often the rights provided in the contract are superior to those provided by law.
