What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Arizona

Is it legal for a doctor to tell the legal guardians of a minor about what information they found during the visit, and not the minor? The parent won't tell the minor either. Thinking there might be a few legal issues with that.

Please provide proof to justify answer.

Thanks

Yes, doctors can advise legal guardians and parents of a minor dependent their findings of a medical exam.

The minor can ask the doctor what the findings were if he or she is interested.

If you want "proof" you can read the myriad of state and federal laws that support this.

Perhaps you'd care to be a little more specific as to what you are looking for. There are far too many variables to begin to give you an accurate answer to your specific question without some detail.
