Help! I was advised by a credit repair service to stop paying on my credit card because I could no longer afford the bill, so I did...now I have a court date and I'm not sure what to do..Do I go and if I do what do I say..I don't have the money to pay this debt and I don't own anything..no property, car nothing. What is the worst they can do? and if I do go can I make a request to only pay a low amount each month, or will they make me pay it all up front? I know they can go to my employer and take money out that way, and if they do I will have no other money for bills. Will they accept a small payment each month? What is the name of your state?
