18 months ago, in the state of ky., a large crane crossed over the median on wet pavement and hit me head on. i broke 4 vertebrae, 8 ribs, my left shoulder and i also had internal bleeding. i spent time in a trauma unit then i was moved to a rehab center.i have made made many outpatient visits for therapy. i still hurt but do not take any heavy drugs. my doctor has written a letter descibing future health problems expected. i am self employed and this has been a big hardship on my business. i hired a lawyer and at first I would have settled for bills paid but the other side has fought me over every little thing, with no offer in sight. i don't want to appear to be a golddigger but what kind of settlement should I expect?

are you set for a trial date yet?

Its not an easy process, you were badly injured and the craindriver was not in his lane....

Did the driver get a ticket? is he still driving a crane?

Stalling usually means.......ESPECIALLY in the REDNECK states...that the company did not have much or no insurance, so they will try and stall you into bankruptcy.

How much insurance did they have on the vehicle?

Also were you self employed for a long time..say 10 or 15 years? If not then it would be hard to guess at the potential income loss....
