I was recently involved in a divorce case. The original attorney I hired did not do a very good job and was verbally abusive, rude, etc. He is now suing me for money I still owe him. First I need to know if I have any kind of counterclaim. Second, I would like to know how to word a settlement offer to him. I cannot afford to hire yet another lawyer at this point. OR... are there any lawyers out there who will represent someone pro bono?? Thanks!
