What is the name of your state? Massachusetts

Am an additional card holder on my boyfriends credit card account. He lost his job and went into default. Now the company is contacting me? Am I liable? I never signed anything and my credit is pretty good, I dont want this to affect my credit either! (Scary, I dont know how they got my work #!)

You are not responsible, as you are just an authorized user. However, this tradeline is on your credit report and will report the charge-off. Try disputing the tradeline as "not mine." Send it certified mail, return receipt. Your boyfriend can also call and have your name taken off.
