OK FIRST I HAVE A DAUGHTER THAT WILL BE 13 IN 4 DAYS HER FATHER IS A convicted child molester...........I WANT TO HAVE HIS RIGHTS TAKEN BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO GO ABOUT IT CAN ANY ONE HELP ME IM SCARED THAT HE WILL COME UP HERE AN FIND HER....................HE HAS NOT SEEN HER IN 10 YEARS SHE DOSE NOT KNOW HEM HER DADDY IS MY HUBSAND..............CAN ANY ONE HELP ME OR JUST TURN ME IN THE RIGHT WAY TO GO

What has caused you to be suddenly worried about her bio-father? If he has left you alone for 10 years what makes you think that he is going to bother you now?

You certainly have reasonable grounds to attempt to terminate his parental rights (your husband would need to be willing to adopt the child) however, making that attempt may very well bring dad out of the woodwork...and will certainly let him know where you and the child are.

Sometimes its better to leave "well enough alone".

Well first of all he has been in jail for the last 10 years...........He tryed to contact us about 2 years ago from jail and now he is OUT...............We are going to be moving back to TX in a bout a year and I want to have this taken care of before we get back there...................That is why I NEED to have some thing done........................Sometimes its better to leave "well enough alone".

Ok...then get yourself a consult with a local attorney and get their take on the situation. This is not something that you should attempt without an attorney. Please realize though that its going to require either bio-dad's agreement or at least his participation in an involuntary termination case.....so you are going to be bringing him back into the picture. You should be able to win...but you really NEED an attorney.

Yes I know I do.......I have talked to one before I just dont have the $$ at this time................Dose any one know of any one that can help that wont caust me an arm and a leg????????????????/
