What is the name of your state?Mi
Here is my dilemma
I received papers from my local court on 12/30/2004, stating that a default judgement on 12/22/2004 had been granted to an attorney here who was suing on behalf of Asset Acceptance, and CFC Finanaical. Each judgement is for about $1,000. I contacted the attorney listed to find out what was going on. The lady that anawered the phone stated that they had sent me 23 letters, and that , and that I was personally served by a process server on 09/22/04 at 6:11p.m. The judgement letter states that the judgement will be final if within 21 days if a motion for new trial or a n appeal is file.

Here is a little info that may be helpful.
I am in Michigan.
I was never served.
09/22/04 was a Wednesday, and I work M-F and do not get off work until 6:15p.m., and my job is about 20 minutes from my home, so it is no way possible for them to have served me, and I stay in an apartment building.
On one of the judgements they do not have my full first name, they just have a shorten version of my name, which I would never use to apply for credit.

What is the best way to approach this? Thanks
