What is the name of your state? We live in Nebraska and my child attends in Colorado.

In Oct of 2004 my child's Superintendent brought me a contract that they needed signed which says that if my child does NOT complete this Computer class which has college credit that I have to pay $200-400. My child is on a 504 and I said to the Superintendent....Why didn't I get this form before my son took this class, knowing that he already struggles and this would add extra stress to him. I told the Super to pull my son out of that class, he said he can't it is too late. I then asked that he be pulled out at semester and once again was refused. Yesterday I get a bill in the mail for $327.60 for this class. No where did the contract say that it was a semester charge. I went to the school and said that I wanted him removed from that class and once again was refused. Am I liable for this charge since I was not aware that this would be a charged class if he didn't pass with a C or above? And no where does this "contract" say it is a semester charge, assuming it once a yearly thing. I told the super that I would not sign that contract also, and he told me that if I didn't that my son wouldn't be able to be elgible for any other school activities. Please advise. Thanks for your time!!
