What is the name of your state? MO, but probably irrelevant.

Asshat has faithfully paid his CS every Friday since the first Friday in December. He pays $80.72/week which comes out to $349.79/month.

He's ordered to pay $318/month. So, I would assume that about $30/month would be applied to arrears. But, as near as I can figure, only about $4.88/month is going towards arrears. Is this because he's paying weekly instead of monthly and the 'reset' date of the 1st hits before he's credited for the 'overage' payment? Does this seem odd to anyone else?

I'm not complaining, I just like to know how things work.

your state charges 1% interest on adjudicated arrears. Is that maybe what the difference is???
See, I just don't know. I'm wondering if I should go back and see how much was applied on the months that were five weeks... since I just thought of that.

The interest rate is good to know, I was wondering last night what it was.

I tried to call and find this stuff out today, but the stoopid CSE office is closed due to flooding. Couldn't the state just issue life preservers or something?
