First of all, please turn off the caps. It's too hard on the eyes and is SHOUTING!

How old is your father? How old is your father's mother?
How old are you? How long were your parents married?

Does your father have a primary care physician? Do you know who the PCP is?

Do have other siblings?

What would you like to accomplish in regards to your father?

Don't worry about dad saying that he's broke, yet.

I think my father is loosing his mind #2

My father is 52 he lives in West Virginia
My grand mother is 79
I' im 25 I live in North Carolina
I have a brother that is 30
My parents were married for about 33 yrs
Im sure my father has a pcp.but i do not really know who it is.

Me and my brother both would like for my father to have a good life. My father has been totaly dissabled for about 20 years due to a coal mineing accident. There is somehings he can do for himself but there is alot of things he cant do. My mother always took care of him like reminder him when to take his meds. Looked after him and made sure he had something to eat and clean clothes and so on. My father has never had to take care of himself, and now he dont want to.Maybe he needs a home health care nurse or something. i dont know, but i cant move to west virginia to take care of him. I know he is young for a nursing home but i dont know what to do about him. I'm worried about him. Its hard to explain what i am saying it might seem like im over reacting but he has been doing alot of strange things and he has never been easy to talk. He is not educated he only can sign his name. He has been recieving help from some people that i do not feel is trustworthy to handle his finances. He can not read or write and he has been getting help mailing out his bills. Which would be fine but the money coming in is being spent before all his bills are being payed. I'm worried that he is being scammed and he dont know it because he dont understand the bills. My mother always took care of that. I just want him to be happy and taken care of.I just dont know what i need to do so that will happen.

Call Adult Protective Services (APS) in the county where your father resides. They will do an investigation and determine if your grandmother can even take care of your father. Your father will not do things for himself. Make sure you write down the names of people at APS and follow up with the investigator. APS will determine whether whether or not your father needs a guardian and file the paperwork. You and your brother will be notified. Perhaps your brother could have better luck in getting "through" to dad. Your dad may be better off at an Assisted Living Facility.

Your question regarding a will was answered in your other thread. Should dad need a guardian and you become dad's guardian, you can have your lawyer prepare a will for dad to present to the court for court approval.
