I decided to buy a motorcycle through ebay and found one that was close to my home town. It was a relatively cheap bike at only $400. I figured there would be a little money that I would have to put into the bike. I was right. He told me I'd be able to drive it home from his house. The brakes don't even work.

Now this is where it gets complicated. I showed up at his residence after driving 2 hours. I get there and tell the man who I am and everything. So he shows me the bike and we get it loaded up. I wasn't dissapointed in the bike's exterior condition. I have never ridden a bike and didn't know what flaws to look for. Anyways, I don't really care about the bike. The PROBLEM here is that I gave him the money assuming he had the title. He didn't. After loading the bike and giving me the money he tells me this. So I figure, I'll trust this guy because he says he'll mail the title to me. It's been a few days and I send him an email. It says that I was letting him have a chance to explain the bike and condition before I post a negative feedback. So he get's all uptite, Calls me on the telephone so I don't have proof, and demands that I post a Great feedback on his profile.(If you don't know people look at the profile and if there are some negatives it's not good for your sales.) I refused and now he won't send the title til I do.

Am I going to have to go to court for this?

The next twist is: Today his wife sends me an email saying that I tried to send a virus to their computer. I simply replied to an email he had sent me. Nothing happened to their computer and I guess she has it located and she is threatening to take me to court. I'm not worried. I have no idea how to send a virus. My only question is there a way to prove I didn't send a virus? And since I don't know much about computers, is there a possibility I did accidentally send her a virus?

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciataded.

As a regular seller and buyer on Ebay, I would post a negative feedback on the seller. For all you know, the motorcycle could be stolen. Providing proper paperwork with the sale of a motor vehicle should be part of the deal. Don't worry about being accused of sending a virus. They are very easy to track if the person did receive one. It would also have to be sent as an attachment to the email. Email me (click on profile below) if you have any questions about feedbacks on Ebay.
