I spend the night with my friend at his apartment. the next day I left to go to the store but when i came back there were police there. So i didn't go back there. My friend was arrested for having pot and having a illegal shot gun. I was wondering if I could get in any trouble for being there early at his place but wasn't there when they came in and search his place and found everything. The pot or gun was not mine. I was just visting him. But i don't if he is going to try to get me to come to court or anything like that. i really was lucky to leave when i did. any advice please. i live in texas.

Man, don't be so hard on her, she might not have known her friend was in possesion of all those things.. she was just visiting. I think you should tell the truth if anyone asks, but if they don't, don't wake up sleeping dogs. If you lie and they find out you lied, they'll wonder why and then try to pin down evidence on you.
You don't want to go through life looking behind your shoulder.

She knew full well he was into guns and probably went over to smoke a little weed.....maybe get laid.

Becuase the other altenative is she really really is a completely stupid broad and will wind up in jail someday, claiming "i dont know nothin"
