me and a few friends went to the department store bloomingdales back around may 09'. now people make mistakes and i made one by following the rest of them and took a few things too. i figured out the hard way and realized how dumb and obvious we made it but anyway now on our way out the store security brought us into a room in the back. they took back the items and counted them. we were asked questions like name, age, address, social security and ask for some type of identification but we were all around the ages of 14-16. i was the oldest. we only gave them name and ages and adresses and parents phonenumbers. i had recently turned 16 so i told them i was 15 so i wouldnt get into any serious trouble. eventually i gave them my date of birth and luckily with storys and a few tears and also because it was closing time and they wanted to go home they were easy on us and decided not to bring police in it . so anyway our parents came for us and in the mail we recieved the fine and was told we cant come back into macys or bloomingdales for another 7 years and because i paid it and wasnt taken to court i dont have any record . i never knew macys was affliated with bloomingdales. i go to macys all the time and just recently went to the same bloomingdales the other day. its not like they have my picture of me they just have a name and old address. my problem is im 17 now and filling out job applications. i really want to fill out an application for macys but i dont know if it would come back to haunt me!!! i mean theres alot people with my name and it never went on my record , i wasnt arrested, please help me out ?-NYC
