I need your help! I tried to withdraw money from the bank recently but was denied since the bank stated authorities froze the acct. I just found out that the reason my acct was frozen is that someone w/ my name who's also using my social security # has several bank accts nationwide w/ a lump sums of money in it. Right now it's under investigation and I don't have any access to my money. this is my only means to survive and i don't know what to do!. I'm scheduled to attend a hearing next week but that's not guaranteed to solve the situation and get access to my money. i only have one bank acct in the state of NY and never had any other bank accts w/ HUGE amts of money (although I wish I did). HELP ME or i'll be homeless soon!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

You MUST take a lawyer with you to that hearing! Visit attorneys until you find one who will take your cat as collateral until your account is unfrozen. In the mean time, cash your checks at a check cashing place & stay away from the bank. The second you add money to the account, it's frozen too. Borrow from friends if you must.

Do you have any information regarding when the accounts were opened? Maybe you can prove you were working in NY on the day you supposedly were in LA opening an account. You want to get the gov't's info ASAP so you can bring your proof to the meeting.

Good luck
