What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I have made several attempts to contact my ex to speak with my daughter leave messages and she never returns my calls, text mesages as well as emails. The only time I hear from her is when she is cancelling my visits via a phone call. ( she has cancelled last three visits because she said my daughter was sick) So I have recently started sending emails after attempting to contact her by phone to cover my but and prove that I have made every attempt to contact her and I am not getting no where. I sent her an email this last week saying in short when coming to cancelling visits to please contact me via certefied Mail 24 hours prior to pick up or by email 6 hours before pick up. I explained this was not just for me as well as for her benefit so we could both have proper documentation ( as our attorney explained phone conversations do not hold up as much as something on paper does) Where do I stand with this? I have printed out my cell phone bill to prove to any one how may times I have attempted to contact her and no calls from her. Does any one have any suggestions as what else I can do to contact her when she does not answer her phone or return calls?

WRONG. You go to the site to pick up your daughter. GO TO HER HOME if there is not a restraining order. That is the ONLY way you can get contempt. You go pick up your child. End of story. If you allow her to cancel your visits (informing you by phone and you not showing) then you are agreeing with the cancellation and that is not contempt.

Thats fine and dandy but when I show up at her home to pick up my daughter she calls the police they show up I hand my court orders to them they try to get her to give my daughter to me but if she does not they say there is nothing they can do and advise me it is a civil matter to take it to court and then they tell me to leave or Crimanal tresspassing charges will be filed. So how is this suppose to work if at every corner I am getting cut off.

YOu file a motion to show cause and ask that mom be found in contempt of court and get make up time.

Ditto to what OG said and I wanted to add: ask the police officers to make a report so you can get a copy of it when X refuses visitation. This will help document for the contempt filing.
