HELP, WHAT TO DO

I have afriend that wants to sell her house, the problem is her husband does not want to sell (at least some days he does some he doesn't), she has a restraining order on him, he lives in Little Rock, Ar. she lives in Kansas City, Mo., he in the past was diagnosised with paranoid schizo-phrenia. He has a VA loan on the house, he had not paid the mortgage for over 3 months, the VA was goin to foreclose but he called and made arrangements to pay, except he told his wife that he wasn't going to pay he just doesn't want her to be able to sell it and get another house, she is wanting to pay the mortgage off, and send him half of any profit, she wants to sign his name to the selling papers to sell without his permission, but we know thats wrong, she doesn't know what to do, she still lives in the house here in KC, Mo. Is there a way to sell the house without his signature, and yes the house and the loan are in both of their names, if not, can she get a letter from the doctor stating hes mentally incapacitated, see an attorney, her time is short...Please Help, any ideas would be appreciated. Oh, sorry about the yelling, not quite sure of internet ettiquette.

Asked a question on this forum, with the hope that someoe could give me an idea how to help a friend, did not get a response, except, if my keyboard is locked on caps, I'm, yelling or screaming. Thanks for the help. I found another site that actually alowed me the oversight and gave me a little insight.....
