Newbie here. I have been reading this forum for about a month now and would like to thank all of you for the helpful advice. Now I have a problem. I signed a 1 year contract with an online/brick & mortar store which entitles me to a free Pentium 3 computer, free shipping, long distance phone benefits, and other little perks. The cost of the contract is $271.00 (I know thats alot, but that includes a computer.) The contract states that the computer and any products that I order would be delivered within 25 business days from the charging of my credit card. I had to call to get the status of my membership for 3 weeks prior to them charging my credit card and it has been 22 business days since then and no computer or products that I have ordered. Do I have any way as a consumer to hold this company to its written contract if they do not deliver within the promised time?

This makes little sense.

I'd suggest that the store is being less than honest as it never takes 23 days. Tell them to deliver or cancel and if the latter, call the credit card company to stop the charge.
