I bought a new 2003 Kia Sorento last year. I didn't have any problems with the vehicle but wanted to "trade up" for a better model. I traded my 2003 for a new 2004 Kia Sorento luxury package. Three weeks after I drove it off the lot, it began to leak oil from the rear. I took it in for servicing. They kept it for 3 days and found that the drive shaft seal was leaking and it was replaced. Today I was driving to work and the car had a very loud "humming" noise. I immediatly took it to the dealership, where I was told that the entire rear back break differential would have to be ordered and replaced. The SUV is less than 4 months old and has 4500 miles. Can I claim this as a lemon yet, or do I need more time with the car as well as more service repairs. I think replacing the entire differential is a big deal and I no longer want this car. (By the way, I never had a single problem with the 2003).
Thank you or your help.
