What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Delaware

I have a 11 year old son who has been going through alot of emotional stress the past few years. It is alot to get into but has been put in several diffrent juvenile prigrams for behavior. Now my Ex choose to keep alot of this information hidden from me as she thought I would never find out. Needless to say that one of his teachers attended church with us and asked me and my wife if we knew what was going on with my son as far as behavior and problems in school. We had no idea because he never really had an out of the oridinary problems with us. So I contacted the school where they had no information that I even was part of my sons life. I then provided them a copy of our what is suppose to be "Joint" custody. They then made me aware of alot of things I was not aware was happening. There is so much detail to get into about why this was not brought to my attention. I then became involved in monthly meetings that involed the direct couselors of my son. My son then became suicidal when with his mother and Crisis Hotline then started getting involved. There has also been several possible reports of physical abuse. No proof as marking are not being left but emotional abuse is obvious. On 10/14 I received a a phone call that my son was being admitted to the hospital because of a situation with his mother that involved physical abuse due to an altercation. Again no physical markings but his mother admitted to the State Workers she hit him in his mouth 2 times.

My question with all this being said is Emergency Custody an option for me???

Were you making regular inquiries into your child's welfare?

To and by whom? What happened?

It's REALLY difficult to believe that all of this was going on and you had NO IDEA. That's not judgment. That's fact.
