I hope some of you have seen me post here before because I'm about to ask some of those "for a friend" questions.

So here we go. A co-worker's friend was charged with DUI in NC this weekend. The only details I know is that she was pulled over for speeding and was subsequently arrested for DUI. She blew a**************. .25. Yep, .25. She's about 27, this is 1st DUI, she was cooperative with arresting officer. So what should she expect? This is what I said to expect: First get a lawyer. She probably wont see any jail time, but will be on probation. She will have to be assesed and take the recommended course treatment. She might still be eligible for a restricted driver's license. She will have to get an alcohol interlock device.

Is this accurate? Anyone have anything else to add? How long will she be required to drive with the interlock? Thanks all.

You can get a lot of free information about the whole dwi process on the NC DWI services website

ncdwiservices.org/index.shtml

And don't pay high prices for insurance. Just because you have a dwi does not mean you have to pay high insurance. For more info visit ifitsinsurance.com/DWI
