Help with survey in PA

Hi. I live in PA and recently bought a manufactured house. I own the property where it will be placed and just had a survey done. The mortgage company is telling me that I need to have a second survey done once the house is in place for $800.00 built directly into my mortgage. I can't understand this. The original survey shows the house location because we had it staked before the survey was done. Are they just trying to get more money from me or is this something that is required by the state of Pennsylvania? Help! I won't set my closing until I know for sure.

I don't understand the need for the second survey myself. It may be the lender just wanting to make some more money. Or, perhaps legally they can't accept your first survey with stakes showing the proposed location. I would advise you find a real estate attorney near you to ask about this. Many give free initial consultations. You can find one at attorneypages.com
