What is the name of your state?pennsylvania
I recently received a ticket in the state of arizona while on vacation that I beleive was unfair and rediculously rated fine. The trooper preyed on me as an out- of- stater and also a driver unfamiliar with the roads there. Granted, I was speeding, but not with a total disregard or recklessly. Anyway, the ticket was for 460$. I refuse to pay that amount to a redneck Rosco P. Coltrane type that has nothing to do but prey on people who bring money and commerce to his state. My question is , what will happen to me if I don't pay it. Could it affect my liscence in Pa.? Could a warrant be issued in my state? My insurance co. already said it would have no bearing on my rating with them because it was in a state with no correlation with Pa. I cannot travel back there to fight it as well. I have heard of people not paying their tickets out of state but never heard of the repercussions. If it was a rate that I could understand or even if the trooper cut me a break a little I would pay it, but this is just wrong!

Google "state driver's license compact" and/or "non resident violators compact" Both are federal laws that allow states to transfer motor vehicle citations between the states and allows states to penalize those for disgressions outside of their borders. Ignoring the ticket would most likely result in the suspension of your driver's license. It would be a real b!tch to get pulled over for a minor traffic violation in your state only to be told your license is suspended. Besides getting another big ticket, your car could be towed adding towing and storage charges. The $460 (proper punctuation places the dollar sign in front of the numbers, not behind) you owe now could look like a drop in the bucket in the future.
