What is the name of your state? Texas

Ok here we go.... I bought a used car from a dealership and I was a very cautious buyer and thought I was getting a good deal as the salesman brought out the NADA book and showed me the value. I came home after making the deal and looked on the internet just to be sure and found out that he had quoted me a incorrect blue book value and I paid MORE than retail for the car. He must have been using a NADA book that was older because the values he added were correct as they would be if the book were 2 or 3 years old. Now is that considered fraud and if so what can I do about it?? How can I get the dealership to give me the difference? Is there anything I can do? Anything at all? I needed a car and my husband is overseas with this war and all and I feel like I've been taken advantage of. Please HELP any advice at all!!!!!

Thanks!

"Now is that considered fraud and if so what can I do about it??"
*** That is not fraud. The responsibility is on you (caveat emptor) to be aware of 'fair price' for the product you purchase.

"How can I get the dealership to give me the difference?"
*** You can't force them by law. If they refund anything to you at all, it would be solely at their discretion.

"Is there anything I can do? Anything at all?"
*** Sorry, but no.

"I needed a car and my husband is overseas with this war and all and I feel like I've been taken advantage of. Please HELP any advice at all!!!!!"
*** There is really nothing that can be done by law. I might suggest though, that you consider contacting your local media, BBB and consumer offices. Though there is no legal obligation, they might make an offer in light of your current circumstances.
