OK-- well we just received the response from the ex wife about all the motions we just filed for... She’s SUCH A B!@ch... you guys tell me.... are we out of our minds, or is this reasonable??

1. The set meeting place half way between both parties specifically be set to *******
2. The set meeting place to Exchange children in Denver be set to the Shell gas station- ********
3. The set meeting place to exchange children in ***** be set to *******
4. The mother and Father both not willingly allow the children to be around people who are smoking.
5. Not allow Verbal parenting time changes anymore
6. All changes to parenting time whether small or large be in writing, signed and notarized by both parents
7. The Kids be allowed to leave ******, and travel to Denver to visit father on all visits
8. In addition to the motion that was put in affect on Oct. 14, 2003 Item J. have the children specifically be with father every 3rd weekend of each month, beginning and ending at times Ordered in Jan 2005 for trips.
9. Grand Parents are added to emergency contact list at both the childrens school school.



then she responded today this insane response. DONT you hate this???

Not much to tell you, Starbud. At this point, you've motioned, she's responded, it's up to a mediator and/or attorney(s) to help you get to an agreement.

Be ready, ready, ready with your lists of specific questions for S.G. You don't want to waste time, which = $$$. Think of the long-term: get a good agreement that lasts for years and covers everything you can think of. S.G. and T.M. are both very good at that. Tell your attorney what you really want, at the root: lots of time w/your kids, fairness, and minimum hassles with the X. Right?

Read as much as you can on CO family law. Be proactive by gaining knowledge.

Oh, and my best advice for this moment? Get outside, man! It's sunny now, but tomorrow it will snow!

Seriously, don't let this take over your whole life. It's important. It's a part of what you're doing right now. But be sure to enjoy some sunshine and pleasant times spent with pleasant people. Don't let your X define your life any more.

edited to add: Dude, I'm not personally thrilled w/the Shell station idea. What you want is someplace warm, indoors, with witnesses, someplace comfortable. You want chairs to wait on, and people who will vouch that you were there and didn't smack someone. And the kids don't need to feel like exchanged hostages. What about the lobby of a large hotel? If you meet in a parking lot, you have no verification that you were on the west side of the lot...or whatever. Get my meaning? Think about it.
