What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
I am from a small town in the UP on the border of WI. I received an underage drinking ticket in WI last winter around February I think. I paid the ticket and was also "awarded" points to my drivers license. I now just got an MIP in downstate MI where I am currently attending college. My court date is tomorrow and I am worried about them asking me if I have had any previous MIP's. Should I answer yes? Do they already know about my ticket from WI? If so, does this count as my second offense? If not, do I have to tell them?

You will only make things worse if you lie. If you are asked about your prior conviction you must disclose it.

Didn't your mom ever teach you that frogs will come out of your mouth if you lied:eek:

oh...and AA is something the crystal ball is telling me might be in your future:cool:

If it was me, I would show up a little early, go to the clerks desk where they have a copy of the court docket. I would than ask what my charges are, if they leave out the key words "second offense" I would take it from there. goodluck.
