My response:

No, you can't get married - yet. Aren't you forgetting a step ?

She still needs to get divorced.

She can't start proceedings in Florida, and have him served in Brazil. If he wants to contest the divorce, well, he can't. Florida is a "no-fault" State, and neither party needs permission to get a divorce.

Once the divorce is final, THEN you can marry her.
