What is the name of your state?Ohio
Okay, the NCP, who had CO supervised visitation as of Nov. 1st, 2004, has just now conacted the appointed visitation home. We were already discharged due to his lack of contact. During the month of the order, I moved to another county. I also had 4 other cases w/him & his family, gf including an assault, menacing, etc. Needless to say, I have tried to make a new start. He has had reports against him here at our new home, causing disturbances, and harrasment. One officer had to get on my phone himself as he repeatedly called with him present in my home (officer). To get to my question, since he has now went 15 months, no contact, and I both live and work in this county, he is unemployed, can I get it moved to my present county? I feel like he has done nothing but cause us greif, no support, and if he tries to say he can't come to my county, I have evidence he has been able to in the instances he trespassed and harrassed us. He is also telling me I will have to miss work and pay for these visits as well. Is this a reason to modify? Thanks. Sorry, I threw a lot of info in there, maybe unrelated. Also, he is claiming his address is in my county as well, even though I know differently. Could that help?

Okay, here's my main questions, will they change counties for me, or do I need to get another modification?

Are you filing harassment charges against him?

Do you mean change counties as far as the venue of the case is concerned? If so, then yes, they will probably do that.

If you mean will the change the supervision location to someplace in your county instead of his, that's iffier.

However, in any case, yes, you do need a modification to get anything changed to your county.

Okay, thank you. I called the juvenile courts where our original case was heard, the secretary talked to the judge, who responded it wasn't an open case and I needed to contact the new county which I'd like the supervised visits to take place. My present county stated I needed to go through the old county. Back and forth between, the visitation house said that CSEA originally filed the modification, and to call them. They have nothing to do w/visits, I already knew this. No one seems to have an answer for the steps I need to take. I left a voicemail with my CASA worker, I have faith that she will know where to lead me. (Crossing my fingers) I just wanted to be sure I won't be held in contempt for changing counties if possible. We both live in the same county now, different than the original order. Confusing enough? I tried to make sense.
