What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? I live in Connecticut and my Section 504 son has completed his high school graduation requirements one year late. The high school is making him wait another eight months to receive a diploma. The officials are adamant. Lawyers are expensive. We have been fighting this for several months and are tired. I have been accused that I am a liar, threatened with prosecution, and all by school officials that don't want to give a diploma to a Section 504 student.
Distressed in Ct.
