Basically, my car was parked in front of a house and drunk driver hit my car. The cops were able to stop him but he had no insurance.

Now I need to pay a $500 deductible because according to the insurance it was a hit and run.

How can I go about this situation?

You can sue the drunk driver for the $500 plus expenses.
