What is the statute of limitations in a hit and run accident involving pedestrian in the state of Texas? Minor injuries occurred and were treated. Pedestrian did not press charges but state pursued arrest. If in fact there is a statute of limitations for hit and run in the state of Texas.

Check out Texas Code section 12.01. It depends on whether you are charged with felony hit and run or misdemeanor hit and run. The statutes are three and two years respectively.
