What is the name of your state? NC

My husband and I are both employed by an out of state company and use a separate building on our premises as an office location (like a branch office). We have an HO3 Deluxe Homeowners Policy with a business pursuits endorsement attached. We also have additional umbrella coverage. The few employees that work for the company come by often, however, go on to job sites to do their actual work. (this was explained to my insurance agent).
My question relates to hiring part time help in the afternoons and evenings to work from this "on premises office location". Since it is our detached dwelling, our homeowner's insurance coverage is subject to exposure. (co. does pay small amt of rent for it's use as an office).
Nothing has happened yet, although I have been extremely concerned by the recent hire of a 17 year old (minor) boy that comes in daily to help in the office after school. Would this underage person be covered under our liablity coverage should any injury result to him during working hours?

Also, can you think of other liabilities that might arise (besides a possible injury), for which we could be held responsible since he is under 18 or age 21, (whichever is the legal age these days)? Oftentimes, he is there for a few hours unsupervised by an adult. I have this gnawing feeling in my gut that this is NOT A GOOD situation to be in because not only is he underage, he would also be considered an "employee" and not an "Insured" under the Homeowners Policy. Can anyone help me think of other liability issues that could result if this whole situation were to go BAD? I would really appreciate it.
Maybe I'm wrong to be so concerned that I think he should be LET GO? Please help, it's gone on for too long and I'm not quite able to decide what it is that bothers me so much about it. I can't really come up with other possibilities that might occur (other than possible break-in, our unknown use of alcoholic beverages, or a personal injury). I could really use some help with other possibilities that might occur to help me present a strong argument (to spouse), that this should NOT be allowed to continue. Since he is underage, aren't we legally responsible for his safety and protection while he is on our premises? Am I wrong here?
Thank you.

i'm not going to provide you with a list of what ifs.

However, your insurance company would like to know that people other than you and your husband work from this location.

You need a commercial policy so that you can pay for the risks you want the insurance company to assume.
