I Work in tennessee, it is stated in our handbook that we are paid for 4 holidays, christmas, new years, thanksgiving, and 4th of july.
we did not get christmas and new years,
Does he have to pay us for that?

I would say that he does have to pay you since it is in the company handbook. It is one of the bargains of employment there. You may want to contact a labor law attorney near you to discuss this matter as a potential class action settlement. You can find one at attorneypages.com.
